Just what the Dr.Ordered
This netbook has everthing I had hoped for. Fast, quite and loaded with software I need. Preview of Office 2007, Works, Adobe Explorer I was ready to plug in and get right to work or play. Keyboard took a while to get used. Sound, picture quality just what I expected. I can’t wait to go on my next trip and have a computer that is useable and easy to tote around. Thank you everyone for your reviews you lead me to just what I was looking for.

Well I will tell you one thing……… if you want to lay in bed all day long and still check your email, play pogo, venture to You Tube etc etc…….. this is it!!!! This is one powerful little machine. I love it and I had it for one day!!! Easy set up to my router and thi8s machine is fully functional for almost everything except playing cds/dvds, you need an external drive. Come pre-loaded with all that you would need. Sound is quite amazing for such a small unit, keyboard is not that difficult to type on either. has SD slot, Multi-card reader slot, 3 USB ports, ethernet etc etc etc The built in webcam is interesting —- and it works!!!

Some stated fan noise, I do not hear it, it sounds normal to me!!!!

Totally portable, take it with you everywhere if you wanted, as the battery lasted 6 1/2 hours on my first charge.

amazing laptop
I am a long-time Mac fan, but I really like this laptop. I set it up with a dual-partition running XP and Ubuntu Linux.

It is small enough that I can travel with it to watch movies that I backup up from my DVDs. So it’s like a portable DVD player.

With a 160gb hard drive and 1GB or ram, it has enough built-in. I might upgrade the RAM later. Here’s a good link to how to upgrade the RAM:

At only $400 (price has been fluctuating because it’s so popular), this is a cheap laptop that is fast enough for word processing, internet browsing, email, and some old-school games.
