Great Stroller, Car seat is on the big side
The Stroller works great on rough terrain, just tried it out on a bark chip trail, and besides the baby being shaken a lot, maneuvering is great. The car seat is known by the car seat installation experts to be on the big side. I do not recommend this car seat if you have a compact 4 door car and you are taller than 5′8″. The driver and front passenger seats have to be moved so far forwards that seating can be uncomfortable. Baby loves the car seat though and falls asleep whenever fastened in.
Great product!
This is a great travel system. At seven months pregnant I was able to assemble it in under twenty minutes. After doing it a few times, I can quickly place my son and take him out of the car seat. The base was very easy to install. The seat is simple to place in and take out of the base and stroller. The stroller folds and unfolds VERY easily. The stroller is great, the “locking” front wheel is a wonderful feature. It also is a very sharp looking set. This is a great product at a great price!
After a year of use…….I am not in love with this stroller.
After using this stroller for a little over a year now, I have to sadly say that I am not a big fan of this stroller anymore. I loved the look, color, safety features and height of the stroller however the dislikes have become more apparent over time.
My husband and I both loved this stroller when we used it as the car seat/travel system. However, when our son was eight months old he outgrew the Safety 1st car seat and we had to buy a different car seat. I was extremely disappointed when we had to start using the actual stroller seat because the seat feels like you are sitting on hard plywood. I ended up buying an additional seat cushion to make the stroller seat a little softer for my son. Also the stroller seat does not fully recline…it barely reclines. Luckily this has not been a huge problem for my son but still it would be nice to have that option.
The cup holders are also a little deceiving. It looks like there are four cup holders on this stroller (three in the upper tray and one down at the stroller tray). However only one cup holder in the upper tray holds an adult size cup and the stroller tray holds the other.
Finally, a word of caution. This stroller has fallen backwards on us a few times when trying to pull our son out of the stroller. If you have a diaper bag around the top stroller bar, the stroller becomes unstable and back heavy when the child is not in the stroller seat. Unfortunately, the storage compartment underneath the seat doesn’t even come close to being able to fit a real diaper bag so that does not leave you with too many options.
In a nutshell, I would not recommend this stroller to a friend.
